No more spending hours in waiting rooms of clinics or away from other family members while one child is receiving therapy.
We come to you and can be scheduled around your child’s nap schedule or your work schedule.
Research shows that children learn best in natural learning environments.
Skills practiced in therapy are those that will most benefit your family in spaces your child is most comfortable. Instead of working on a false set of stairs in the clinic your child will be learning to climb the stairs in your home. Instead of learning to transfer from a table to a chair in the office they will learn to transfer from their chair to their bed. This changes therapy from general skills development to developing the skills children need to be successful in their lives in environments they spend time in.
The biggest flaw of clinical therapy is the absence of family interaction. Parent/ caregiver education is imperative to your child’s therapy success. It is our goal to help you understand not only what we are doing with your child but why we are doing it. A parent/ caregiver who understands why an activity benefits a child, how the activity is to be performed, and when the activity is most affective is one that feels empowered to utilize that information in all aspects of life, making therapy more meaningful while also promoting understanding and acceptance.
Therapy is performed in the privacy of your home.
